Theme Keukenhof
Theme 2010: 'From Russia with Love'.
Russia. An enormous country. A beautiful country. A country full of mystery. This year Keukenhof is paying homage to an extraordinary country with an extraordinary history, under the theme ‘From Russia with Love’. Follow the theme route marked on the map and you will not miss a thing. From the main entrance to the drawbridge you will find yourself walking through Russian landscapes, while in the children’s play area you can encounter Russian wildlife and visit a traditional dacha. And of course you must not forget the Russian inspirational garden.
Another great attraction is the mosaic of the famous St. Basil’s Cathedral. Have your photo taken on a Russian army bicycle at the park entrance, before going on to discover the typical Russian matryoshkas displayed at various locations throughout the park. And are you a fan of the Russian ballet? Then you must come to the Oranje Nassau Pavilion.
Opening times 2010:
18 March to 16 May (inclusive)
Daily from 08:00 – 19:30.
(Ticket office closes at 18:00).
Spring at its most beautiful!
An unprecedented wealth of spectacular floral displays planted in endless varieties, alternated with beautiful works of art. Keukenhof is unique, world famous and has been one of the most popular destinations in the Netherlands for many years now. And it has been photographed millions of times, more than any other location. The same also applies to the surrounding bulb fields as well, of course. In 2010, you will be able to experience our spring park with the audiovisual Discovery Tour. Keukenhof is therefore constantly updating itself. And you will always feel welcome here, whether you visit us on your own, with the children or as a group. Here, you can see spring in all its splendour for two whole months.
