The guide, which costs € 4, includes a general description of the park with plan and photos, special elements and gardening tips. It is also available at the information desks and from the ‘Jacobas’, the hostesses dressed as Countess Jacoba van Beieren, who once owned the estate.

Payment methods

You can pay with Visa card, Euro-MasterCard or Amex, bank card and of course cash in euros.

Picnic

There are many benches and even special picnic spots on the grass, these are indicated. For groups above twenty persons we have an amusing picnic arrangement. For information, please contact sales.

Plan

In a park of 32 hectares you can easily get lost. Therefore you will find floor plans spread across the area on which you can determine where you are at that moment. If you purchase a park guide, you will also receive a free map.

Planted bulbs

Approximately seven million flower bulbs are planted annually. Furthermore there are also numerous inner exhibitions. Take a look at this video of how our gardners are planting the bulbs at Keukenhof.
