Kitchen Garden
Kitchen Garden is gardening both intelligently and creatively in a nature-friendly way. Rooftops, undeveloped land and public gardens, but also school gardens get a new function. Neighbourhood residents transform these spaces together into a green oasis of cheerful flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit. Home-grown lettuce and tomatoes are taken straight from the garden to the dining table. The excess produce is exchanged or sold at spontaneously organised markets or on the Internet. The collectively planted flower bulbs come into flower and make the garden bright and lively in spring. And then they can even be picked for a vase.
